Freemasonry is

All Lodge Dunblane wants for Christmas is enough grocery items to feed hungry families for another year.

As the Christmas season draws closer, WM of Lodge Dunblane Gub Billick and his brethren are taking part in the annual Christmas Trolley Drive.

Lodge-Dunblane-Xmas-Trolley-2On December 7, a joyous procession of trolleys made it's way along Ware St accompanied by the Australian Army Band to the Uniting Church's diner, where the emptying cupboard shelves will be restocked with a year's-worth of food.

This year's trolley drive attracted over 160 trolleys.

"We have great support from local businesses and in particular primary schools," Gub said.
"It's a great educational tool for kids to learn that we have people in our community who need help and a great way for Freemasonry to help."

In a world often dictated by hate and segregation, membership of an organisation capable of uniting men of all religions, colours and even accents is more relevant than ever.
