From the Grand Master

Brethren, how pleasing it is to see that your donations are continuing to come in to the Disaster Relief Fund.

Your hard work is allowing us to support not just the Rural Fire Service, but also many masons in need and others in their communities.

I'm also proud to announce that 44 tons of hay is being provided to help struggling farmers in the area around Braidwood. Those communities have been battered by the recent fires and are still suffering the effects of the ongoing drought. This hay will provide important temporary relief which in itself has given them great confidence for the future.

Brethren, I continue to be humbled by your ongoing support.

Growing the Craft - Canberra Daylight gets Consecrated

Our Grand Master, MW Bro Derek Robson AM has officiated at the ceremony of yet another new lodge, consecrating Lodge Canberra Daylight No 1057 last Saturday, 15 February 2020.

As expected, the Consecration was a wonderful event with many gathering at the Mawson Masonic Centre to be part of this special moment for Freemasonry.

We all wish the new lodge every success for a bright and strong future.

Batlow Show - Burnt not Beaten

The town of Batlow is pushing ahead with their local show, and the local masons will use this event to have a Get Together Lunch. The aim is to support the community and raise funds for the Grand Master's Disaster Relief Appeal.

A Traditional Country Show

The Batlow Show will have a pavilion bursting at the seams with craft, baking, sewing, knitting, kid's models, art, photography, in fact anything locals have made, grown or created in the previous twelve months.

Outside you'll find, horses, poultry, sideshow rides, market stalls and lots of entertainment for the whole family. Come in and get involved.
