Getting our Masonic Centres ready

Brethren,

How pleasing it is to see so many MASONIC CENTRES now reporting that they have completed the first step to becoming 'COVID-19 Safe'.

The current situation in Victoria teaches us just how quickly things can change, and it is now even more imperative that we all remain vigilant and be very careful to follow the rules set down by the Chief Health Officer.

As I have indicated, we are now one week into preparing our Masonic Centres with many building owners already completing Stage 1 and returning their documentation (Checklist and COVID Safe business registration) to the Grand Secretary. I thank all those involved for their ongoing support including the Board of Management and the Grand Master's Task Team who have provided much needed assistance, guidance and advice during what has been an exceedingly difficult time.

If your building is now Stage 1 compliant and you are in a position to offer assistance to a neighbouring Masonic Centre, please do. I am sure that if we keep working together as friends and Masons we will soon have all buildings compliant enabling us to then move forward with Stage 2.

I wish you well with your Stage 1 preparations.

Derek Robson AM
Grand Master

Stage 1 - The First Step

Hats are off to a number of Masonic Centres who have worked hard to prepare their buildings as COVID-19 Safe.

We all must work together and focus on those buildings still working on their plan. We are all in this together and must work as a team to move forward.

At the time of publication of this Newsletter the following Masonic Centres have their COVID-Safe tick:

Ballina, Balranald, Blacktown, Camden, Campbelltown, Cessnock, Coffs Harbour, East Maitland, Forster, Geurie, Goulburn, Leeton, Maitland, Milton, Moruya, Mosman, Murrumburrah (Harden), Nelson Bay, Padstow, Petersham, Queanbeyan, Ryde, Sydney, Twin Towns (Tweed Heads), Wyong, Yass.
